ITH are seeking an experienced Machine Operator/Foreman to join our civils team, a large part of your duties will include operating a 360 excavator with a tilt rotator. As part of this role you will take responsibility for individual sites, ensuring projects are completed to a high-quality standard and that health and safety regulations are followed at all times.

Responsibilities include:

· Operate machinery on site including plant such as a 360 excavator ensuring safety measured are followed

· Ensure that all health & safety requirements are met and operatives are following safe working practices

· Ensure effective use of operatives, equipment including plant, machinery and equipment and other resources to achieve daily targets

· Complete day allocation sheets, ensuring all necessary information is filled out and accurate

· Act as the main site contact for customers and other third-parties involved in the project, ensuring effective communication to build working relationships

· Ensure sites are maintained to a suitable standard and that sites are cleared away at the end of projects, ensuring that all equipment, signage etc are all returned and accounted for

· Ensure that order numbers are issued from the Purchase Ledger Clerk ahead of purchasing from suppliers

· To brief the team as and when necessary to ensure effective communication across sites

Required skills/qualifications/experience:

· Previous experience of performing as a working Foreman is preferable

· At least 5 years’ experience of operating machines including a 360 excavator is essential

· Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work

· Full UK driving license

· CSCS card

· SMSTS
